Believing in the basic goodness of every young person, the Preventive System is focused on educating the young through evangelization. This indicates the awakening of the young’s innate sense of God, educating them in faith and leading them to the path of youthful holiness.
Reason
Reason indicates the values of what is good, as well as the goals to be pursued and the means and methods to achieve them. It encourages young people to share the values they have learned and accepted. Don Bosco referred to it as "reasonableness" because it must be accompanied by understanding, dialogue, and unfailing practice in order for the difficult practice of reasoning to be expressed.
Loving Kindness
A manifestation of strength and self-control. It aims to foster a persuasive environment in which trust and communication can flourish. Supplies the emotional and psychological needs of the young, who want to belong, feel safe, and be recognized.
