Caritas Business College held its 3rd Business Skills Exhibition Day on September 24, 2024, showcasing the skills and knowledge of students in the fields of office administration and tourism and hospitality management. The event marked a significant milestone for students from the Diploma in Office Administration and Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, who had been preparing since March through their Peer Education Clubs (PEC) and academic courses.

The program commenced at around 9:00 AM and featured a panel of distinguished judges from various industries. These included Ms. Irene Nuñez, Senior Lecturer from Port Moresby Business College, and Mrs. Dara Brendling. Representatives from notable companies such as Crowne Plaza Hotel, Air Niugini, and Digitec Ltd. were also in attendance as special guests, along with a keynote speaker from the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST), Ms. Stephanie Minjihau, Liaison Officer in Teacher, Nursing & Specialized Institutions Department.

Throughout the day, students presented a variety of projects and practical demonstrations. The Diploma in Office Administration students showcased their expertise in document management, client communication, and event coordination, while those in the Tourism and Hospitality Management program highlighted their proficiency in hotel operations, customer service, and travel planning. These presentations emphasized the real-world applications of their academic training, providing an opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals.

Caritas Business College’s Business Skills Exhibition Day reinforces the institution’s commitment to fostering both technical and academic competence. Through events like these, the college ensures that students are not only prepared for their future careers but are also guided by strong moral and spiritual values, promoting integral human development.
