Caritas Business College Hosts MYOB Seminar Training Workshop for Year 2 Students

CBC

Caritas Business College conducted a specialized MYOB seminar training workshop for its Year 2 students from September 18 to 20, 2024 at CBC ICT Laboratory. The workshop was designed to give students practical experience in using MYOB (Mind Your Own Business), a widely utilized accounting software in businesses across various industries.

The seminar was the result of strategic planning by Sr. Mazzarello Choi, SCG, the college’s directress. Her vision for this training was to enhance students' accounting and computer skills, ensuring they are well-equipped for future professional roles in business and administration.

Students from both the Diploma in Office Administration and Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management actively participated in the workshop. Over the three-day period, they received hands-on guidance on essential tasks such as bookkeeping, invoice management, payroll processing, and generating financial reports using MYOB. These activities provided valuable insights into financial management and reinforced the practical applications of their academic coursework.

The seminar concluded with an awards ceremony, during which participants were presented with certificates acknowledging their successful completion of the training. The certificates symbolize not only their technical accomplishments but also their readiness to contribute to the professional world.

Caritas Business College remains committed to its core values of promoting both competence and compassion. Through programs like this, the institution upholds its mission to foster spiritual and moral values alongside technical skills and academic advancement. By doing so, the college supports the integral human development of its students, ensuring they are prepared to thrive in both their careers and personal lives.
